
We held our 6:30am and 5:30 pm training today and had a great turn-out at 5:30.
At 6:30am we did this:
Complete as many rounds of the following as possible in 20 minutes
5 pull-ups
10 KB swings (1.5 pood)
15 135lb Deadlifts
Bob slogged through this one to come out on top with almost 7 complete rounds. It was good work done in the early light of morning.
Our 5:30 pm class did full Tabata’s of the following:
Ball Slams
Burpees
Box Jumps
Squats
Tiffany won this with 33 points. It was all three ladies first CrossFit workout. I think the pain shows!

Bri, after two months of CrossFit and a previous 5 rep PR of 100lbs, Deadlifted 225lbs today. Her hard work is paying off.

To the ladies of the 5:30 class: Wow! You guys showed a lot of heart today and I am so impressed. I can’t wait to do it again! Also, I have to give it up to Bri, she’s come so far in such a short time and today was just one of the many PR attempts lately that have left CrossFit RVA with only one response, “When the hell did you start being able to do that?”
Bri, you’re a warrior! Congratulations to everyone else that makes up CrossFit RVA, nobody can stop us now.
