WOD 11/25/09


Today’s WOD:

Come and find out. No, it won’t be that bad. I promise.

ATTENTION: Today is the last day that you will have an opportunity to work out at the Space. Don’t go getting all sentimental on me, but seriously, all workouts after today will be held at the Foushee gym. Come on out and say good-bye with a workout and after we’re done, we can burn the beezy down. Just kidding. Don’t do that, please. It would be a nightmare for us.

    I think this was today’s WOD but I might have the tasks out of order.

    It took me 22:04 (But I might have the seconds on that time screwed up again.)

    I can’t remember if you called today’s particular burpees, Beek’s Burpees but they sucked. You do a burpee and instead of jumping upwards, you do a long jump forward. As big a jump as you can because we did them to the 50 meter mark. Yes, you read that correctly…

    Warm-up was 500 meter row.
    WOD For time:

    50 meter Beek’s (?)- Burpees,
    then run back.
    25 dumbbell thrusters- (I used 30 lbs in each hand)
    100 meter walking lunge
    25 Kettlebell swings (16kg)
    100 meter bear crawls
    25 Box Jumps
    200 meter farmers walk w/ kettlebells/dumbbells
    25 Jumping Pull-ups

    Suck factor: 99
    I’m glad I did it though. It covers just about everything ‘cept gymnastics.

    19:23 w/
    40# thrusters
    1.5 pood kb swings
    1.5 pood/50# farmers walk

    15 lb dumbells for thrusters

    chest definitely not to deck for burpees but around 50% there

    16 kg kb swings

    1 16 kg kb per hand for farmers walk

    used the medium height box for jumps

    it was 50 jumping pullups, and they are deceiving little jerks that i still had to break up into sections…

    33:10+still nursing mild jetlag and 1st time back after 8 days off partying in cali (yeah, i know…little baby wah wah)
