WOD 12/07/09
Rack Jerk
Max Effort x1
then
AMRAP 10:
Snatch Grip Deadlift, 6 reps
Hang Power Snatch, 3 reps
Overhead Squat, 9 reps
Use a weight that will allow for unbroken rounds. This workout is as much about technique as it is about lifting a heavy load.
We often talk about intensity in our workouts and I challenge anyone to work as hard as Don in the gym. If you haven’t had the pleasure of watching him during a workout, make sure to keep an eye on this guy. He just might put you to shame. He comes to the gym with a fantastic attitude and he pounds through his wods with a smile on his face. I’m telling you, the (positive) mental game is half the battle. The other half is the physical part and the other half is rest, recovery, and nutrition. Yes, there are three halves to fitness at our gym.
You can also catch me in the back of the pic lounging hard. I am SO good at that.
