		<description>I&#039;ve been to only one powerlifting competition, but it was fun to watch.  There&#039;s a lot of real strong people out there moving heavy things.  Ms. Thomson bench presses an awful lot.  More than two times bodyweight!  Yikes!</description>

The Women&#039;s National Record  for the Total (for my weight class) hovers around 650-750 lbs. Jennifer Thomson, in my weight class, has the state record for Bench Press at 280 lbs/127 kg!</description>
