You’re in for a treat if you’ve never done this WOD before.

For all of you doing the Nutrition Challenge and for those of you trying to eat clean in general, beer and fried foods don’t fall under our guidelines for health! We know the Super Bowl is almost here and that means bad food is right around the corner, but stick to your guns and keep it healthy. Avoid those alcoholic beverages, it won’t kill you to abstain for a weekend. Drink some water instead. Enjoy your (snowy?) weekend!

    b-man, beer is in my blood i just can’t not drink it but i have restricted it to just the weekends… and thursday night…. and after dodgeball games

    DOnt drink beer on Super Bowl Sunday? And I think it was Homer Simpson who said, “Beer is the nectar of gods.” Why would I deny myself something so wonderful?

    Seriously I understand the reasoning but hey if it worked for Arnold I think it can work for me.

    I know that not drinking is a tall order and as long as your are cognizant of its effects on your body both in the moment and in the days after, I don’t care what you do. Just keep in mind that clean eating all week is undone by a weekend of drinking. It takes over a week for your body to adjust to the lower/better carbohydrate eating that most of you are taking a part in and if you inject it with beer and fried foods, you’re setting yourself back a week.

    There’s always going to be a reason to take a cheat day, a birthday celebration, a night out, test completed, Super Bowl, etc. You are all part of a challenge and this will affect your results. Your discipline will pay off. I’m not trying to be the anti-fun police because as far as I’m concerned, your diet should never negatively affect your quality of life. So long as you understand what you’re doing to your body, enjoy yourself this weekend!
