I’m pumped to see how you guys do today. Full squats, no pressouts. Make it happen.
My kind of day! I’m only in the gym coaching for the 3:30 and 4:30 classes so come get those PR’s in while I’m around.
Snatch: 155#/10# PR,failed at 165#
Clean and Jerk 205#/10#PR, failed at 225#(hit 225# ground to shoulder at Superfit), again got the bar high enough just did not get under it.
I’ve been visualizing PRs all day, I’ll see if I can make it happen…
Congratulations to everyone I saw make some PRs. Alex W and Jaci, to name a few, did great. A lot of others made some good progress working under some heavy weights for them personally.
As for me, I FINALLY snatch 225 after a long chase! I would like to have to done better on the C n J but I am happy to go home with 285 pounds. 510 total.
150# snatch, 15# PR
175# C+J, no change
Snatch 165# (15 lb PR)

Felt good first day back from booze filled vaca. Good work 630 class.
disappointing – 75# snatch (same PR) and 110# c&j (5# pound loss from earlier this year)
Couldn’t make it up to RVA, had to drop in at CCF. Glad to hear about everyone’s PR’s!
Kinda, sorta happy with my results…
Snatch 95# (10# PR) was able to lock out at 100, but couldn’t quite keep my balance to stand all the way up.
C&J 125# (10# PR) Was aiming for 135, Grrr
155# snatch tied PR – disappointed in my clean & jerk 215# (10 below PR) but I missed most of the recent progression due to back issues – maybe next time!
I maxed my squat clean at superfit so spent yesterday working on the snatch. So close to 120, but failed about 10xs.
