Weightlifting

Olympic Weightlifting - the Clean and Jerk and the Snatch - is perhaps the best tool for developing the power necessary for elite athleticism.

We provide Olympic weightlifting instruction through:

Group Classes - While we rarely do high-volume olympic weightlifting as a part of CrossFit “MetCon” workouts, we teach the Olympic lifts in a group class setting. You must be signed up for our CrossFit group classes to participate, though we do offer a 2x/week membership option if you only wish to come to the weightlifting classes.

Class Times

  • Monday - 7:00pm-8:00pm
  • Friday - 7:00pm-8:00pm

Personal Training - If you have a particular interest in learning the olympic lifts and would like to do so as quickly as possible, we offer 1-on-1 training to facilitate that. Check out the “Personal Training” tab at the top of the page for more information and contact information.

Weightlifting Seminars - We are proud to host weightlifting seminars run by Chris Wilkes, head coach of OBX Weightlifting Club. Chris was been coaching for over 10 years.
